Pyrénées Atlantiques’s buses (Transports64)

What services are available? Transports-64 is the intercity bus network in the Pyrénées Atlantiques, connecting the department’s main hubs – link.

There are two main lines for cross-border travel:

  • the 816 (15 return journeys between Bayonne and Hendaye)
  • the 816 Euskadi Express: between Bayonne and Hendaye, with stops in Anglet, Biarritz (station and airport), Saint-Jean-de-Luz (bus station) and Irún (town hall and Ficoba). Different shops can be visited and national and international connections made in Irún (Euskotren and Renfe stations and Alsa bus connections, etc). The bus makes 4 outward journeys and 4 return journeys daily, and takes the motorway at points to reduce journey times. It runs from Friday evening to Sunday evening and on public holidays in France and Gipuzkoa
